From summer house to permanent residence

In the scenic countryside of Denmark's largest lake, Arresø in North Zealand, is the old home area Ramløse Bakker. Here, Anne-Lise Andersson found his private paradise and have settled as permanent residents.

The house she lives in is an old cottage in black wood. It is 90 m2 and has been renovated quite a lot and several times since it hit its folds like home. The goal was to make it a fully habitable year-round home, but still maintain the charm of summer and the serene atmosphere that the beautiful natural area, it is located in, invite to relax

The house is furnished very personal with a mix of Swedish and French things that are found at flea markets in Denmark and Sweden and sometimes in France.

A few years ago got home a 20 m2 large extension that works as a studio, and the garden is a story in itself! It is 3,000 m2, so there is plenty of room to roam. Among other things, there are small terraces and cozy corners around the garden, so you can always catch a sunspot.

The latest garden project is a small orangery, built from old windows and some discarded doors. Here you can sit close to nature and just enjoy it - even when it rains….
